Starting our tour with amazing views over Funchal´s Bay, you'll enjoy a drive uphill to Boca dos Namorados, at nearly 1000 mt high above sea level, where you'll be able to see the famous village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley). Going higher to Boca da Corrida through a spectacular off-road with an elevation of about 1200 mt, you'll be astonished by the main volcanic complex and highest mountains of the island. From there, you'll go downhill to Jardim da Serra, well- known place for its cherry production. Here you'll have a quick stop, where you'll be able to enjoy a traditional Portuguese coffee, natural tea, or the very traditional drink Poncha (not included), freshly made by a local. You'll continue towards Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the World with 580 mt, better known for its renovated viewpoint with a suspended glass floor. This amazing experience will finish at the warm and traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos visiting a Madeira Wine Lodge, where you'll have the opportunity to taste the famous Madeira wine (Sweet / Medium Sweet / Dry / Medium Dry).

Madeira's magnificent scenery takes centre stage on this full day tour. You'll visit a selection of highlights including picturesque Ribeira Brava Village, Porto Moniz, Paúl da Serra and Encumeada Pass. Then, it's time for a stroll through a banana plantation in Madalena do Mar.Next, we'll head up the 1,500m-high Paúl da Serra plateau before descending on Porto Moniz, famous for its natural lava rock swimming pools. A typical lunch freshly prepared with local produce awaits in the village. Then, crossing north to south, we'll venture over the Encumeada Pass for some knockout views across the island. Rounding off the day is a poncha drink demonstration and tasting in Câmara de Lobos – a favourite holiday spot of Winston Churchill.
