We did the Coba, Chichen Itza & Valladolid excursion on our honeymoon and it was incredible. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and seeing the Mayan ruins, exploring the jungle, and visiting Chichen Itza – one of the Seven Wonders – was unforgettable. Lunch was included with plenty of tasty options. It is a long day, but absolutely worth it for the history, culture, and amazing sights.

Frank and Salvador were brilliant. Frank delivered historical knowledge in an entertaining and engaging way. He explained the spiritual and cultural side of things especially the images on the temple. Salvador drove us safely to the various venues. Would highly recommend these two.

Our guide and host was friendly and knowledgeable. We were lucky to get to Coba and the Cenote early and had full access to ourselves! The Cenote is definitely a bucket list location, plenty of time to enjoy our surroundings. Chichén Itzá was equally breathtaking, although the heat was very intense, with little areas to provide respite from it. My only critique would be the hidden costly taxes not included in the tickets and some of the staff/vendors at the locations were quite harassing.

A duo of Mexican delights await on this full day tour from Cancun. The adventure begins at the break of dawn with a journey to experience the wonder of Chichen Itza, a UNESCO-listed ancient Maya city. Then, wind down with a swim in a natural underground cenote cave. Hugo, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘The early start is worth it – we'll arrive first thing in the morning to experience the magic of the ruins in the soft sunlight and beat the heat'.A guided tour of the ruined city reveals the stories of this remarkable site. It's not hard to imagine the daily lives of the community that lived here and built these impressive monuments. After the guided tour, enjoy free time to make the most of exploring this archaeological treasure trove as you wish. Hugo adds, ‘This ancient city isn't just about admiring the grandeur of El Castillo, but also about feeling the pulse of the Maya civilization that thrived here centuries ago. Don't miss the Great Ball Court—imagine the echoes of the past as players competed in this very spot.'Next, you'll be whisked away to Cenote Tsukán. Cenotes are believed by the Maya to be portals to the underworld, and they are revered in traditional culture. Here, you will plunge into the limpid waters, participate in a traditional ceremony and feel your senses awaken in glorious natural surroundings. Afterwards, you'll enjoy a tasty local lunch, savouring the flavours of regional cuisine prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

Sian Ka’an Reserve Tour with Boat Trip

The ancient Maya called it ‘Where the Sky Begins' – and there's definitely a touch of heaven to Sian Ka'an. Its mangroves, coral reefs, wildlife and archaeological sites mean that it's both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Biosphere Reserve, a rare double that puts it in the Champions League of natural parks. Manon, one of our expert local guides, says, “I first came to Sian Ka'an as a visitor on holidays from Normandy and totally fell in love with it – now I work in this paradise. I come here every day and have never lived the same experience twice.” The adventure begins the moment you step onto the boat to explore the dense mangroves. As you navigate through the reserve, you'll be surrounded by flora and fauna – over 300 species call this place home, including birds, crocodiles and dolphins. As the boat drifts along, your guide will point out unique plant species that thrive in this wetland ecosystem, explaining their vital roles in maintaining the ecological balance. Then, you'll head out into the Caribbean Sea to snorkel in one of the best-preserved reefs in the area. You'll also drop the anchor at a shallow stretch of sand with low tides and crystal-clear waters, known locally as La Piscina. Then, the afternoon is all about unwinding. You'll head to Punta Allen, a small Mayan fishing village, where you can savour some local dishes, before having some time to sit back and relax. It's an idyllic end to a day spent immersed in some of Cancun's most stunning natural scenery.
