Monaco is a sovereign city-state and country, commonly known as the Principality of Monaco. It shares borders on 3 sides with France and the other with the Mediterranean Sea, it is also around 15km from the border of Italy. The official language that is spoken is French but there is a high percentage of people who also speak Italian and Monegasque.
