Things to do in 25 de Abril Bridge
The massive, red suspension 25 April Bridge (Ponte 25 de Abril), which bears a close resemblance to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, is one of Lisbon’s most famous landmarks. The bridge connects the city of Lisbon to the municipality of Almada on the South Bank of the Tagus river. Originally, from 1966 until 1974, the bridge was named Salazar Bridge (Ponte Salazar) in honor of Portuguese Prime Minister António de Oliveira Salazar. After the Carnation Revolution which overthrew the remnants of Salazar's dictatorship, the bridge was renamed for April 25, the date of the revolution.
You can admire the bridge from many viewpoints in Lisbon. Most sailing and catamaran tours cruise go under it, giving passengers incredible views of this beautiful landmark.

Reviews 25 de Abril Bridge
“Très pratique et très enrichissant”
“Excellent tour, with visits to other interesting sites on route, as well as the two wineries. One larger winery with a great tour and a smaller one with fantastic tastings and surroundings. Our Tour Guide, Nuno, was amazing, and very knowledgeable with his info, and just made the tour very special.”
