What to expect

Setting sail from the port of Agios Nikolaos, you'll spend around an hour crossing the bay of Mirabellos. Relax on board, letting the amazing views of nature and the blue sea glide by. We'll drop anchor first at a secluded spot on the island of Kolokytha so you can enjoy swimming in its calm, clear waters.

The island is an appealing mix of peaceful beaches backed by ancient olive groves. The stop will be around 90 minutes so you'll have plenty of time for a splash around. Next, we'll continue with a short hop of around 15 minutes sailing to the island of legends, Spinalonga.

Here you'll discover the curious history of this little islet on a guided tour. Not only is it crowned by a Venetian fortress with splendid views back to the coast, but it was once a leper colony. Your tour will reveal the history of the island and a look at the houses where the sufferers were once exiled, revealing the sad story of the island and its inhabitants.
